A New Thing

Adopting a third world child is a pretty surreal experience and it is something I'm very excited about. Many have quickly responded with encouragement, support and excitement! Can hardly wait but I have a long journey ahead! Aren't these 2 going to be great sisters to our new member?!

You will provide a terrific home
to your new member.
I just spoke with a couple that have gone through this process and are in the midst of adoption for the second time. I have permission to forward their names, telephone numbers and email address to you. I will give you this info. in person.

I remember a day years ago, sitting in a car, with a young woman who was scared spitless that she was pregnant. And even more scared about being a mom.
she believed that she could never be a good mom.

I told her that ONLY she could be that perfect mom the child would need............... Who'da thought, now this strong warrior woman, will save a life and share her love.

Proud beyond measure of who you are.

Bless You Teena...
I pray the journey is shortened and smooth for you. You and Mark will provide an Awesome home!

Jianna has my heart a little stretched...
During her letter sharing at school yesterday..."z"; she informed the class that the toy zebras she had brought were for her 2 Chinese sisters to play with....
My heart aches at the uncertainty of timeing etc....yet the girl's certainty as if it were tomorrow.
I am trusting this to God as well...

I was so excited when Andrew told me Mark had shared with him about your "expecting"! I'm excited to read about your journey as it unfolds!

Our prayers are with you for the process to be quick with no surprises so that this precious one can be added to your hearts and home as soon as possible.

What an incredible journey your family is on...addition is exciting but this will be an advendture for all. I can hear your girls questions already ..."are we there yet?" ...."when....how come so long?..."Why do we have to wait...."

You're an awesome Mom and a wonderful example of an overcomer. You truly are choosing to live life to it's very fullest..... You Go Girl!!

We have the deepest respect for you and Mark and are thrilled to stand along side of you both.
